Farm Hand

The Falls Farm, an award-winning farm near Mapleton Falls National Park on the Sunshine Coast, is renowned for its commitment to regenerative farming practices. We grow a diverse range of seasonal produce, including heirloom vegetables, specialty greens, root crops, herbs, and edible flowers, all cultivated with a focus on soil health, biodiversity, and sustainable farming methods.

Role Overview
Farm Hands will collaborate within small team to maintain the farm's daily operations and ensure the successful cultivation of various crops. This role reports directly to the Farm Manager and Head Gardener.

Key Responsibilities

• Help execute the growing cycle in collaboration with the Farm Manager and Head Gardener.
• Aid in the preparation, planting, maintenance and harvesting for a wide variety of crops
• Ensure produce meets high-quality standards for market sale, reflecting the farm's award-winning reputation.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in small plot market gardening.
• Strong understanding of vegetable cultivation, regenerative farming practices, and sustainable agriculture.
• Hands-on experience in vegetable production and harvesting techniques.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
